The story in brief

The initiative covers online grooming and exploitation, misuse of artificial intelligence, gaming-related harm and financial fraud. Teachers are also trained to preserve digital evidence and provide a first response when a child faces an online problem.1 The programme, run through ISAC Foundation, gives participating schools a way to form cyber clubs, certify students and hold awareness sessions for parents and staff. These are programme provisions; the release does not document each school’s implementation.1

Defence Ministry: The ministry also describes round-the-clock victim support through cyber lawyers, psychologists and forensic experts. The announcement concerns these Air Force schools, rather than every school in India, and reports no measured reduction in online harm.1
