The story in brief

The October 30 clarification covers candidates who already obtained an application number or paid. If a fresh form is left unfinished, the earlier completed form remains valid.1 A fresh form needs new uploads and a new fee payment; earlier fees are neither refunded nor adjusted. For limited changes, NTA advises the November 27–29 correction facility.1

Regular fresh applications close November 22 at 11:50 pm IST; the late-fee window runs November 23–26, ending at 11:50 pm. Multiple numbers alone are allowed, but attempting the examination more than once in a session is prohibited.1

Who this matters for: JEE Main 2027 Session 1 applicants
